Dawna is an eclectic rock band led by mesmerizing front man Jesse Henry (The Spikedrivers, Strutterfly). Henry’s songwriting establishes a modern identity while paying homage to American roots, blues, jazz, and country. He is a frequent collaborator with celebrated Columbus band Caamp, opening for their sold out show at the Ryman (Nashvillle) and joining them on stage at their most recent Red Rocks show.

Americana Darling Angela Perley has spent the past decade onstage and on the road, creating her own cosmic swirl of alt-country, psychedelic rock, and amplified Americana along the way

The Pride of Columbus and the hottest dance band around, the Fabulous Johnson Brothers have been keeping the city on it’s feet for over two decades and still going strong.

HooDoo Soul Band with special guest TBD

HooDoo Soul Band

The longest running residency in Columbus history - the HooDoo Soul Band has played every Sunday night for the past 27 years. The HooDoo stage has been the launch pad for touring musicians, the home of Grammy nominees and winners and the inspiration for a generation of musicians out of Columbus. A documentary about the band’s history is currently in the works.

Mojoflo with special guest Stephanie Amber from Honey and Blue

Mojoflo
Beloved Columbus funk band featuring dynamite front woman Amber Knicole. Beyond leading the band Amber continues to expand her theatre repertoire taking center stage for a number of Short North Stage productions including Showgirls (earning a Theatre RoundTable award for her performance), Pippin, Spamalot and Little Shop of Horrors.

Recently featured on PostModern Jukebox‘s rendition of Olivia Rodriguez’s Happier, Honey and Blue front woman Stephanie Amber adds a one two punch alongside fellow Short North Stage cast mate Amber Knicole.

Starlit Ways

Acoustic duo of singer/songwriters Rose Nkechi Onyeneho (originally from West Africa, specifically Gabon and Nigeria) and Chris Glover, native of Columbus, Ohio. The duo performs an eclectic range of music from originals, jazz age classics, and modern tunes from a diverse range of genres. Rose's gifted vocals (in both French and English) combine with Chris' guitar abilities and harmonies create a unique sound that reflects their talents and passion for music.

Devi & Liz

Symphony trained musicians Devi & Liz perform string arrangements of modern pop music from the likes of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Santigold and more.
